Betty Gil was born in Mexico City, and has a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development at the Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Early in her career, Betty worked at P&G providing internal training courses, and later moved to teaching Spanish in schools and universities in Mexico. She slowly transitioned to her current role, teaching Spanish to foreigners of all ages from around the world with the popularization of online learning.
